Special Ed Prom set for March 7 in Atascadero
Success Charities creates inclusive prom experience for participants with disabilities
– Success Charities has announced that its annual Special Ed Prom, “Let Your Light Shine,” will take place on March 7 at the Pavilion on the Lake in Atascadero. The event, which begins at 6 p.m., aims to provide an inclusive and accessible prom experience for individuals with special needs.
Participants will enjoy music, dancing, food, and a supportive environment designed to create lasting memories. The event reflects Success Charities’ commitment to ensuring everyone, regardless of ability, can take part in life’s significant moments.
“We are thrilled to bring the Special Ed Prom back for another year, offering participants with special needs the chance to celebrate in a way that is meaningful to them,” said Elissa Williams, founder of Success Charities. “This event provides an opportunity for these participants to feel seen, valued, and celebrated. We can’t wait to create another unforgettable night for them.”
Sponsorship opportunities available
Success Charities is seeking sponsorships from businesses and individuals to help support the event. Sponsorship funds will go toward covering expenses such as decorations, entertainment, and accommodations for attendees.
“We believe that community involvement is key to the success of this event,” Williams said. “We encourage local businesses, corporations, and individuals to consider sponsoring the Special Ed Prom to help us continue providing this important experience for participants with special needs.”
