SLO County Elections Office open Saturday for voting assistance
Voters who are not yet registered can register and cast their ballots on site
– The San Luis Obispo County Elections Office will open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2, to assist voters with obtaining replacement vote-by-mail ballots and to answer questions in advance of Election Day. Voters who are not yet registered can register and cast their ballots on site.
The Elections Office traditionally opens the Saturday before Election Day to provide access for county residents unable to visit during the work week. This year, Clerk-Recorder staff will also be available to assist with vital records requests, which are generally handled only during regular Monday through Friday business hours.
During the Saturday hours, staff will process and tabulate returned vote-by-mail ballots. The public may observe these activities, although observation is subject to space limitations, and all observers must check in at the counter and receive credentials before entering.
The Elections Office has additionally published the official list of precinct numbers and polling locations for Tuesday, Nov. 5, with addresses included. The list is included below.
