– Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, part of Tenet Health Central Coast, has appointed Michael Keleman as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).
Keleman succeeds Eleze Armstrong, who recently took over as Chief Executive Officer at Doctors Hospital of Manteca, which is also a Tenet Health hospital.
Keleman assumes responsibility for continuing modernization and capital improvement efforts as well as ensuring the hospital’s service lines and existing programs continue in their growth and success.
“Michael has been an integral member of our Central Coast team and an enthusiastic advocate for the expansion and coordination of services provided by our entire family of services,” said Mark Lisa, CEO of Tenet Health Central Coast. “This is a seamless fit and I am delighted to have Michael in this role.”
Keleman previously served as the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) for Tenet Health Central Coast, which includes Twin Cities Community Hospital in Templeton, since 2018. He joined the Central Coast team from San Ramon where he was the Director of Network Development for Tenet Health’s joint venture with John Muir Health. Prior to his role in San Ramon, Keleman worked for John Muir Health in Walnut Creek as Manager of Systems Strategy and Business Development.
A member of the American College of Health Executives, Keleman earned his Bachelor of Science from UC Davis in Kinesiology and a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from the University of Southern California.
