2-year-old dog named Moby also participated in the visit
– The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office partnered with the San Luis Obispo County Division of Animal Services to bring shelter dogs to the county jail as part of a custody K9 program, according to the sheriff’s office.
The sheriff’s office said puppies visited the jail last week as part of the partnership. This week, a 2-year-old dog named Moby also participated in the visit.
According to the sheriff’s office, the visits aimed to provide interaction between people at the jail and dogs from the county animal services program. The sheriff’s office said the visits benefited both the people and the dogs.
The sheriff’s office said it hopes the dogs involved in the visits will be adopted by Christmas.
