‘Shakespeare for Kids’ classes return this November
Classes are open to kids ages 7-13
–Starting on Saturdays in November, the City of Atascadero will have Instructor Brendan Kelso back this fall teaching his melodramatic drama class, Shakespeare for Kids. Classes are open to boys and girls ages 7 to 13 years old.
Kids will love, A Christmas Carol for Kids, a melodramatic rendition of Charles Dickens’ classic, the Christmas Carol, penned by Kelso. They will enjoy being creative, playing as animals on stage and having fun. This drama class will open kid’s minds and imaginations to the classics, and will end with a performance on the last day of class. The class also includes a signed copy of Kelso’s book.
This class will meet Saturdays, Nov. 5 to Dec. 17 (no class 11/26) from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Colony Park Community Center, 5599 Traffic Way.
