Senate Republican Leader visits Central Coast, supports local supervisor

–California Senate Republican Leader, Jean Fuller (R-Bakersfield) will be visiting the Madonna Inn this Thursday and speaking at a local fundraiser for Supervisor Debbie Arnold. In addition to offering her time as keynote speaker, Fuller has also endorsed Arnold for her re-election campaign.
The fundraiser will be hosted at the Madonna Inn, from 5:30-8 p.m.
“I’m looking forward to the event and I’m happy to support Debbie,” said Fuller. “She is a principled leader who allows her conservative values to underline her decisions.”
The first woman to ever hold the position of Senate Republican Leader in the state of California, Fuller was first elected to the Legislature in 2006. Currently serving her second term in the senate, she is considered to be a leader on education reform and job creation. Previous to serving the region in an elected capacity, Fuller spent three decades as an educator, presiding as superintendent of one of the largest elementary schools in the state and being recognized as Superintendent of the Year in 2005.
