Second annual Mother-Son Sweetheart Dance returns to Pavilion on the Lake
– The City of Atascadero will present the second annual Mother-Son Sweetheart Dance on Jan. 30 and 31 at the Pavilion on the Lake.
The semi-formal event is titled “How Sweet it is to be Loved by You!” and invites mothers, aunts, grandmothers, or other adults to attend with a son or a special guest. Attendees will dance to music provided by DJ Manny Medina and participate in activities that include snacks and door prizes. The theme of the first dance event is “How Sweet it is to be Loved by You!”
A professional photographer, Jimmy Dee, will be on site offering picture packages. Tickets must be purchased in advance and will not be available at the door.
Ticket prices are $38 per couple for Atascadero residents with a 93422 ZIP code and $44 per couple for non-residents. Tickets for additional sons are $5. Tickets may only be purchased in person at the Colony Park Community Center, located at 5599 Traffic Way, Atascadero, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets are on sale now.
