Roadwork in Templeton expected to cause delays next week
– San Luis Obispo County Public Works will be conducting road improvements on Main Street in Templeton at the intersections of the US 101 northbound on- and off-ramps and Ramada Drive. The work will take place from Oct. 28 through Nov. 1 between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. each day. Drivers should expect delays of up to 20 minutes.
Improvements will include upgrades to signage and road striping. US 101 Exit 226 will be intermittently closed during work hours, with flaggers managing traffic control on the Main Street overpass.
Public Works stated that improving traffic operations at this intersection has been a top request from the local community, and this maintenance project is aimed at addressing those concerns. The roadway will be fully open outside of the scheduled work hours.
