Road work on Highway 41 to cause overnight delays

Crews began work the week of June 19, have already completed some sections

– A paving project on Highway 41 from Main Street in Morro Bay to Los Altos Road in Atascadero will continue weekly until mid-August.

The traveling public can expect one-way traffic control during the overnight hours on Highway 41 continuing Monday through Thursday from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

This project will result in crews grinding and paving a roughly 11.5-mile stretch of roadway or 23 total lane miles which includes both directions. Crews began work the week of June 19 and have already completed some sections.

Message and directional signs are in place to assist all travelers. The traveling public can expect delays of up to 20 minutes.

The contractor for this $6 million project is Papich Construction of Arroyo Grande.
