Report: Member voted off Templeton Area Advisory Group

– A San Luis Obispo County community advisory group is facing internal upheaval following a resignation, the removal of a board member, and the appointment of a new chair who is facing criminal charges, according to a recent report by the San Luis Obispo Tribune.
Murray Powell, a longtime member and vice chair of the Templeton Area Advisory Group, was voted off the board on Jan. 15.
Powell’s removal came one month after the group’s former chair, Jennifer Jones, resigned, citing “problematic behaviors” by a board member.
