Registration open for spring softball, basketball leagues
–The City of Atascadero will once again offer both spring adult softball and spring adult basketball leagues. Register your team now at the Colony Park Community Center, located on Traffic Way in Atascadero.
The 2017 Spring adult softball men’s and coed leagues will begin the week of March 6 and will run for 15 weeks through June 2017. Applications are now being accepted on a team basis only, with team rosters having a minimum of 12 players and a maximum of 18. The softball league base registration costs $623 per team, with additional fees possible for non-resident players and late registrations. Adult softball registrations will only be accepted thru Feb. 18 at 5 p.m. A mandatory softball team manager’s meeting will be held Wednesday, March 1 at the Colony Park Community Center, and team schedules will be handed out at that time.
The spring adult basketball league will run for eight weeks beginning March 19 through May 21. Applications for this league are also only accepted on a team basis; all teams will be coed with a minimum of 6 players and a maximum of 12 players. Games will take place on Sundays at the Colony Park Community Center. The basketball league base registration costs $410 per team, with additional fees possible for non-resident players and late registrations. Adult basketball registrations will be accepted only through Feb. 28 at 5 p.m. There will be a basketball team manager’s meeting on March 16 at 5:30 p.m. at the Colony Park Community Center.
