Registration open for summer Lego camp 

The City of Atascadero and Bricks 4 Kidz will be offering a summer Lego and Minecraft engineering class, open to kids 5 to 11 years old. Legos

The first session of the camp will run Monday thru Friday, June 22 to 26 and the second session will run Monday thru Friday, July 6 to 10. Both sessions are from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The camp takes place at the Colony Park Community Center, 5599 Traffic Way and the cost is $200.50 per student.

Minecraft is a game about placing blocks to build anything you can imagine. Kids will build shelters, some of the mobs, critters and tools. Instructors from Bricks 4 Kidz will provide inspiration for students to take their creations further, and students are allowed to make important choices.

Registration is currently being accepted at the Colony Park Community Center, at 5599 Traffic Way, or register online at www.atascadero.org. For additional information, call (805) 470-3360.
