Registration open for Atascadero winter youth basketball program
Practices begin the week of Dec. 1
– Registration is now open for the City of Atascadero’s Winter Youth Basketball program.
The program is open to students in kindergarten through 12th grade at all skill levels. Organizers said the focus is on individual skill development, teamwork, and positive attitudes in a non-competitive setting.
All registered players in kindergarten through 8th grade must attend one of two skills clinics and assessments. The clinics will be held Saturday, Oct. 4, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., or Saturday, Nov. 1, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Players may drop in at any time. Assessments will take between 20 and 45 minutes and will include group stations.
Practices begin the week of Dec. 1, 2025. Games will be played on Saturdays from Jan. 10, 2026, through March 7, 2026.
The cost is $118 for Atascadero residents and $129 for non-residents. Registration closes Oct. 24.
