Registration now open for Hot El Camino Cruise Nite
City of Atascadero caps Cruise Nite at 350 entries
– The City of Atascadero will host the 32nd Annual Hot El Camino Cruise Nite on Aug. 15 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. along El Camino Real as part of the city’s Cruisin’ Weekend.
The event features up to 350 vehicles, including classic cars and hot rods from across San Luis Obispo County and neighboring areas. The Cruise is a closed, controlled event stretching from Curbaril to Traffic Way. Thousands of spectators typically attend the family-oriented event.
Cruise passes are limited to 350 and must be purchased in advance. Pre-registration is open now at the Colony Park Community Center, located at 5599 Traffic Way. Mail-in pre-registration is accepted through Aug. 1. Walk-in pre-registration will be accepted through Aug. 15 at 4 p.m., while supplies last. Day-of registration is $45 per vehicle and must be completed before 4 p.m. Passes will not be sold after that time or at the event itself.
Cruisin’ Weekend continues on Aug. 16 with the Mid-State Cruizers Car Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Atascadero Lake Park, followed by the ninth annual Dancing in the Streets event from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. in downtown Atascadero.
