The Red Barn Community Music Series presents Moonsville Collective in concert

–Americana string band Moonsville Collective will be performing at the Red Barn in Los Osos on Saturday, Jan. 14. There will be a voluntary donation taken at the door, no reservations needed. The Red Barn is located at 2180 Palisades Ave., in Los Osos.

The evening begins at 5 p.m. with a potluck, and the show starts at 6 p.m. Moonsville Collective is an award winning Americana string band playing old time, folk, country and rhythm and blues.

Moonsville Collective is an award winning Americana string band that stands firm in the traditions of old time, folk, country and rhythm and blues. Since its formation in 2011 in Orange County, Moonsville Collective has been named “2012 Best Country/American Band” by the OC Music Awards, “2012 Best Live Band” by OC Weekly, and named “Best Bluegrass/Americana Band in Orange County” by CBS Los Angeles. Moonsville Collective will perform for the Red Barn Community Series in Los Osos on Saturday, Jan. 14.

 

About the Red Barn Community Music Series

The Red Barn Community Music Series is a monthly concert series showcasing local, regional and national musicians performing old time, bluegrass, swing, Celtic, blues, and other forms of acoustic roots music. Your generous donations at the door keep the Red Barn Community Series alive. All proceeds from the show go directly to the artists. The Red Barn is located in the Los Osos Community Park at 2180 Palisades Ave., Los Osos. Doors open at 4:30 p.m., the potluck supper and potluck band start at 5 p.m., the show begins at 6 p.m. BYOB and a dish to share and your own utensils for the potluck supper. This show is made possible through the generous support and assistance of the entire Red Barn Community (aka Children of the Barn) and with support from KCBX Public Radio and Live Oak Music Festival.
