Rain, cooler temperatures in the forecast for Atascadero this week
Rain likely to begin late Wednesday
– Warm, dry conditions early in the week will shift to cooler weather and rain starting midweek in Atascadero, according to the latest weather forecasts.
Temperatures are expected to reach a high of 85 degrees on Monday before dropping to the 70s on Tuesday and into the 60s by Wednesday. Rain is likely beginning late Wednesday, with about 0.5 inches expected.
The heaviest rainfall is forecast for Thursday, with up to 0.7 inches possible and daytime highs around 59 degrees. Showers may continue into Friday morning, followed by clearing skies.
By the weekend, mostly sunny conditions will return with highs in the low 60s and overnight lows near 40 degrees. Dry weather and cool temperatures are expected to continue into early next week.
