Portland-based Americana artist Kassi Valazza performing in Atascadero
Show part of tour celebrating new album
– Portland-based Americana artist Kassi Valazza prepares to take the stage at Bristol’s Cider House in Atascadero. The show, scheduled for June 7, will also serve as a celebration of her new album, “Kassi Valazza Knows Nothing.”
Valazza’s musical prowess has earned her a spot alongside breakout roots artists such as Allison Russell, Nikki Lane, Sunny War, Margo Cilker, and Plains on UNCUT’s prestigious compilation, “Sounds of the New West Vol 6.”
Valazza’s journey in the music industry began with the release of her self-produced debut album, “Dear Dead Days,” in 2019, which garnered widespread acclaim. Last year, she further solidified her position as a rising star with a surprise digital EP titled “Highway Sounds.”
Her latest album, “Kassi Valazza Knows Nothing,” is a collection of songs that “exude an enchanting quality,” akin to “protective talismans, capturing dreams and reflecting light.” Valazza explores themes of love and longing, employing metaphors from the world around her to offer insights into the human experience.
Music starts at 8 p.m. Tickets and more information available here.
