‘Plants and Peculiars’ sale held monthly at Atascadero Lake Park
– The “Plants and Peculiars” sale, organized by ThingsWorthGrowing, will take place Sunday, Sept. 7, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Atascadero Lake Park and Charles Paddock Zoo.
The monthly event is held the first Sunday of each month and features more than 100 plant varieties for sale, including pond plants. Visitors will also find food and unusual items such as dill pickle snowcones and fruiting mushroom blocks.
Vendor applications are open, and youth vendors are welcome. ThingsWorthGrowing said young sellers must obtain a fee-exempt nursery license from the agriculture department to participate.
