Pastel artist to give free demo in Morro Bay
During the demonstration, participants will delve into the realms of drawing, composition, color, and value
– Art Center Morro Bay will host a free pastel demonstration by award-winning artist Greg Trombly on Feb. 12 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the magic of pastels, focusing on basic drawing and observation skills.
During the demonstration, participants will delve into the realms of drawing, composition, color, and value. Trombly, a seasoned painter with 20 years of experience, utilizes his background as a primary teacher to impart a deceptively simple technique for creating beautiful landscapes.
Trombly has garnered numerous awards in juried shows, and boasts a collection of work featured in private collections across nine states.
The pastel demonstration is part of the Art Center Morro Bay’s Demo Days, a recurring event held on the second Monday of each month. These events are free and open to the public.
The event will take place at Art Center Morro Bay, located at 835 Main Street, in Morro Bay.
