Paderewski Festival announces events schedule 

–The Paderewski Festival is a four-day music festival held annually in November celebrating Paso Robles’ rich heritage and its most famous resident Ignacy Jan Paderewski – virtuoso pianist, composer, international politician, local landowner, grower, and winemaker. Concerts featuring world renown talent, exhibits, lectures, and masterclasses are accompanied by wine tastings and tours of local vineyards. A youth piano competition, recital and student cultural exchange with Poland additionally honor Paderewski’s legacy.

Thursday, Oct. 31
“Dracula Rising: Ghosts of Hollywood Past” with Ensemble 4 These Times
Dinner, Wine Reception, Concert plus Costume Contest!
Cass Winery – 5:30 p.m.

Friday, Nov. 1
Master Class with Gala Artists: pianist Takeshi Nagayasa
Cal Poly – 11 a.m.

“Polish Baroque Treasures” with USC Thorton Baroque Sinfonia
Wine Reception, Concert
Park Ballroom – 6:30 p.m.

Saturday, Nov. 2
Paderewski Festival Youth Competition Winners’ Recital
Paso Robles Inn Ballroom – 4 p.m. – Free admission

Paderewski Festival Gala Recital with pianist Takeshi Nagayasu
Wine Reception, Concert
Paso Robles Inn Ballroom – 6:30 p.m.

Sunday, Nov. 3
“Paderewski and World Politics and Polish Independence Day” lecture
Epoch Wine Estates – 10 a.m.
