O’Bunco party raises funds for community initiatives
Quota of Atascadero’s ‘O’Bunco’ party held at Kiwanis Hall
– Quota of Atascadero recently hosted its popular “O’Bunco” party, drawing over 80 participants for an evening of lively games and community support.
The event, held at Kiwanis Hall on March 13, featured spirited rounds of Bunco, abundant food, desserts, beverages, and prize drawings. Attendees embraced the St. Patrick’s Day theme, dressing accordingly for the occasion. Quota organizes these Bunco parties three times a year, aiming to raise funds for local community initiatives.
Quota, a nonprofit organization operating under the motto “Quota Cares,” is driven by a network of dedicated volunteers committed to making a positive impact. Members, diverse in background, share a common objective of aiding others.
Proceeds from the Bunco parties directly contribute to Quota’s support for various individuals and organizations across the community. Collaborating closely with local schools and numerous groups such as Lumina, LINK, ECHO, and the Colony Days Committee, Quota offers scholarships, hosts events like the annual Colony Tea, and provides essential assistance to families in need through initiatives like Coats for Kids and ECHO dinners.
Additionally, Quota’s involvement extends to broader community events, including sponsorship of Greybots and support for Colony Days, Winter Wonderland, and the Lighthouse Reality Tour.
