Nipomo man arrested for child sex abuse

– The San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Nipomo man following an investigation into alleged child sexual abuse involving two juvenile victims, according to authorities.
On Dec. 15, the sheriff’s office received a report of a child sexual abuse allegation. Detectives assigned to the sheriff’s office special victims unit began an immediate investigation.
Investigators identified two victims, both female and under the age of 14. authorities said the sexual abuse began several years ago.
Detectives identified the suspect as Victor Manuel VillaMedina, 67, of Nipomo. Investigators determined VillaMedina committed various sexual acts with both victims over the course of the past few years, according to the sheriff’s office.
VillaMedina was arrested on Dec. 17 on multiple charges, including lewd acts with a child under the age of 14, sexual penetration with force with a victim 10 years old or younger, sexual penetration with a victim 10 years old or younger, and aggravated sexual assault of a minor by force.
The incidents occurred in Nipomo.
