New video production company joins Atascadero Chamber of Commerce

The business offers its services to the North County area
– Cool Waters Productions has recently joined the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce and offers a full suite of videography, photography, and editing services to its clients.
David Varela, 38, of Paso Robles, founded the business about a year ago after rekindling an old passion for working with cameras and specializes in creating advertising video content for local businesses.
“I’m able to have a camera in my hand all the time, which is nice,” Varela said.
He first discovered his passion for cameras in high school, where he would film videos of his friends skateboarding with a handheld camera and edit it at home. However, he lost that passion as life got busier, and worked several kinds of jobs, often in the construction field.
“It just took a while for me to find joy in what I was doing,” Varela said.
During the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic, Varela rediscovered that passion with the help of his friend Tim Lopez of Motion City Films.
Varela currently works alone in his company, but he hopes to expand and is interested in providing more services to different clients such as doing more weddings and events.
The production company offers its various services to clients in the North County area, including those in Paso Robles and Atascadero.
