New spring concert series coming to downtown Atascadero

Spring concerts kick off April 2
– The City of Atascadero will kick off the new 2022 Spring Concert Series, to be held in Sunken Gardens in downtown Atascadero, starting on Saturday, April 2 from 4-6 p.m.
The new Spring Concert Series will run through four Saturdays starting on April 2nd and ending April 23, as follows:
- April 2, Burning James All-Stars (Blues & Rock)
- April 9, Carbon City Lights (Alternative Rock, Folk, Pop & rock)
- April 16, Back Bay Betty (Contemporary Rock, Blues, Soul, Jazz)
- April 23, Sōleffect (Blues, funk, rock, reggae band)
The city’s concert events are outdoors and free for everyone to attend. There will also be bounce houses for the kids and a variety of food trucks, including Paradise Shaved Ice, Taqueria Don Jose, and Zen Dog to name a few. Bring a low-back chair to enjoy the music.
The city’s traditional “Saturday in the Park” Summer Concert Series, held at Atascadero Lake Park, begins on June 18 at the Lake Park Bandstand. More information about this event series is forthcoming.
