–After some years of being dark on the 4th of July radar, Atascadero will now be home to a brand new Independence Day experience — the 4th of July Bluegrass Freedom Festival at Atascadero Lake Park.
The year is 2017, and years of drought have given way to a terrific rainy season that filled the Atascadero Lake and sets the stage for the return of family fun for the 4th of July.
The event will include:
- Family-fun amusements
- Vendor & snack fair
- 4th of July community games
- BBQ dinner
- Boat relay races
- And a bluegrass concert headlined by Snap Jackson and the Knock on Wood Players
The festival is free to attend. For barbecue tickets and more information, click here.
