National Association of Women Business Owners to hold April 6 meeting
Dr. Minette Riordan to present “The Link Between Creativity & Prosperity”
–The Central Coast California chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) will meet Friday, April 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. for lunch at the San Luis Obispo Country Club. Guests are welcome to attend.
Award-Winning Entrepreneur and Best-Selling Author, Dr. Minette Riordan is passionate about bringing creativity, spirituality and business together. Minette has coached hundreds of women on how to use their creative talents and ideas to build profitable businesses.
At this meeting, Dr. Riordan will share specific examples of how integrating your creativity into your business can boost your bottom line.
“Connecting to creativity is a powerful skill that entrepreneurs need to cultivate in order to thrive in today’s global market place,” says Riordan. “Yet only 1 in 4 people consider themselves to be creative.”
Attendees will learn how to start a creativity practice and discover three specific ways that creativity can increase their cash flow.
The luncheon event will include opportunities for attendees to network with other business owners. NAWBO CCC is a local chapter of a national organization dedicated to helping female entrepreneurs succeed.
According to Dawn Goonetilleke, President of the Central Coast Chapter, the organization focuses on being purposeful, effective, courageous advocates for women business owners.
“Women have a unique set of skills and perspectives that are essential in today’s changing business climate,” says local business owner and NAWBO Board member Heather Moreno. “NAWBO gives us a place to cultivate strong relationships, grow our sphere of influence and expand our businesses.”
