Nacimiento pipeline break creates water spout near Atascadero
–A valve for managing air bubbles inside the Lake Nacimiento water line broke just after 8 a.m., on Saturday, sending water spouting into the air on Rocky Canyon Road near Halcon Road in Atascadero.
Reports say that the the break resulted in the loss of about 100,000 gallons of water.
Cal Fire tweeted an image and explanation of the break on Saturday:

Firefighters tweeted around 8:45 a.m. saying the pipeline had been shut down and water was no longer flowing in the area.
