Mudslide wipes out massive portion of Highway 1

–Millions of tons of dirt have buried a large section of Highway 1 after a mudslide Sunday night. The portion of road is buried under 40 feet of debris. The mudslide is located in the area of Mud Creek, about nine miles north of San Luis Obispo County line.
