Movies in the Garden showing ‘Solo-A Star Wars Story’ Sept. 4
Be sure to bring your light sabers for some training with a Jedi Master
–The City of Atascadero and presenting sponsors Perry’s Parcel & Gift, Tenet Health Central Coast and Waste Management, along with our event sponsor Mechanics Bank, will present the last movie of the summer for our 2021 Movies in the Gardens on Saturday, Sept. 4.
Plan to be at Sunken Gardens in Downtown Atascadero in your best Star Wars costume as they premiere “Solo – A Start Wars Story” (PG13). Be sure to bring your light sabers for some training with a Jedi Master. Light Saber training will take place at about 7:30 p.m. and the movie will start shortly after 8 p.m.
Through a series of daring escapades deep within a dark and dangerous criminal underworld, Han Solo befriends his mighty future copilot Chewbacca and meets the notorious gambler Lando Calrissian, in a journey that will set the course of one of the Star Wars saga’s most unlikely heroes.”
Movies in the Gardens is free for the community and everyone is encouraged to bring a blanket, a low-back chair, and the whole family to relish the warm summer evenings while enjoying a terrific movie. Paradise Shaved Ice will be selling concessions.
