‘Movies in the Gardens’ to screen The Last Jedi 

–On Saturday, Sept. 1, Movies in the Garden will present “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” (PG-13), where Rey learns the ways of the Force from Luke Skywalker, and develops a telepathic bond with Kylo Ren, who is struggling to master the Dark Side. Meanwhile, Storm trooper-turned-Resistance fighter Finn goes on a risky mission behind enemy lines. Another fantastic, not-to-miss movie under the stars in the Sunken Gardens.

Movies will show Saturday’s through Sept. 8. Shows will begin at approximately 8:15 p.m. All shows are held in the Sunken Gardens located at 6500 Palma Avenue in Atascadero and are family friendly. This event is totally free.

The last movie coming up in Sunken Gardens to enjoy will be Wonder (Sept. 8, PG). Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket, low-back chair, and your family to relish the warm summer evenings. Snacks and refreshments will be available every week provided by St. Luke’s Episcopal Church.
