Mothers Against Drunk Driving presents award to Atascadero officer

– Officer Tim Perkins of the Atascadero Police Department was honored with a 2025 Mothers Against Drunk Driving Award at the MADD California Ceremony.

“This award recognizes Officer Perkins’ outstanding dedication to DUI enforcement and his commitment to keeping Atascadero’s roads and community safe,” the Atascadero Police Department stated. “His hard work and vigilance have made a direct impact in preventing impaired driving and saving lives.”

“The APD team is extremely proud of Officer Perkins for this well-deserved recognition,” the department stated. “Please join us in congratulating him on this achievement.”
