“With the assistance of our partner agencies we have made excellent progress removing fallen and hazardous trees and limbs, including hazardous trees in proximity to State Park buildings and facilities,” said San Luis Obispo Coast District Superintendent Dan Falat. “By coordination with crews and equipment from Cal Fire and the California Conservation Corps we are more quickly and efficiently able to mitigate these public safety hazards and facilitate public access again. We will be evaluating the situation and progress here daily. We apologize for the inconvenience caused to local area residents, businesses, and visitors.”
