More first-dose vaccine appointments available for next week
–The San Luis Obispo County Public Health Department plans to administer more than 9,800 COVID-19 vaccine doses next week. Starting Thursday, Feb. 25, at 9 a.m., about 5,300 eligible community members can reserve a first-dose appointment and nearly 4,500 eligible community members can reserve a second-dose appointment for next week. Second-dose appointments are currently open to those who got their first dose about one month ago.
Until local supply increases, if you can safely stay home and avoid COVID-19 exposure, the county asks that you please allow those who are most at risk for exposure or serious health outcomes to make an appointment first.
