Mid-State Fair adds new rodeo events to lineup
County Rodeo Finals to be held once again at Mid-State Fair
–The California Mid-State Fair has announced that the Country Rodeo Finals will take place at the 2016 Mid-State Fair on Saturday, July 30.
The exciting night of local rodeo action will take place in the Main Grandstand Arena starting at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the rodeo will be $25 and go on sale Friday, May 6. Tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. online at www.midstatefair.com or by calling 1-800-909-FAIR.
Featured events include Bronc Riding, Bull Riding, Team Penning, Barrel Racing, Match Roping, Ranch Rope & Brand, Double Mugging and Mixed Ribbon Roping. In addition, the fans will be treated with specialty acts throughout the performance.
New show this year: Extreme Team Rodeo
–The California Mid-State Fair has announced a brand new event for 2016: Extreme Team Rodeo on Sunday, July 31. The rodeo will place in the Main Grandstand Arena starting at 6:30 p.m.
Tickets for the Extreme Team Rodeo will be $25 and go on sale Friday, May 6. Tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. online at www.midstatefair.com or by calling 1-800-909-FAIR.
The rodeo will feature fan favorite events, including Bull Riding and Bull Fighting, along with new events such as Bull Poker, Ring of Fire, Toro Teeter Totter and FMX.

–The California Mid-State Fair is pleased to announce a brand new event for 2016: Fiesta Del Charro Rodeo on Sunday, July 31. The exciting day of rodeo action will take place in the Main Grandstand Arena starting at 2:30 pm.
Tickets for the Fiesta Del Charro Rodeo will be $25 and go on sale Friday, May 6. Tickets will be available starting at 10 a.m. online at www.midstatefair.com or by calling 1-800-909-FAIR.
Fiesta Del Charro is a classic Mexican-style rodeo competition, complete with traditional Charros. The fast-paced rodeo action, paired with authentic Hispanic Flare, makes for an event like no other. The rodeo will include a Bull Riding competition between American and Mexican Charro riders, Trick Roping, Dancing Horses, and Escarmusa (Mexican Drill Team). The combination of traditional Bronc Riding, American-style and Portuguese Bull Fighting and live Mariachi bands will bring the flavor of Mexico to the sport of the rodeo. The rodeo will be announced in both English and Spanish, with live Mexican music.
The 2016 California Mid-State Fair runs July 20 through July 31. This year’s theme is “The Adventure Continues…”
