‘Matilda’ comes to life at Atascadero High School 

'Matilda' comes to life at Atascadero High School

Show opens this weekend

– Atascadero High School Theater Department is set to bring a whimsical production to the stage this Spring with their latest offering, “Matilda the Musical Jr.” Based on the classic Roald Dahl novel, the play follows the adventures of a five-year-old girl named Matilda who loves learning and has a vivid imagination. The story takes a turn when she discovers she has supernatural powers that help her friends and lead her to defy an evil headmistress.

The show will open on March 24 at 7 p.m. with additional performances on the 25th, 31st, and April 1, also at 7 p.m. There will be matinee shows on March 25 and April 1 at 2 p.m. The Atascadero High School Theater is located at 1 High School Hill Rd. in Atascadero.'Matilda' comes to life at Atascadero High School

Ticket prices for the performances are $10 for guests, while students with their ASB card can attend for free. To purchase tickets, interested parties can head to https://bpt.me/5631200.

“Matilda the Musical Jr.” has enjoyed success since its West End debut in 2011 before making its way to Broadway in 2013. The show promises to be a fun-filled adventure for all ages.
