Update: Missing Grover Beach man located

Update posted Feb. 9.

–The Grover Beach Department reported that John Collins has been located in Southern California. His family has been notified of his whereabouts and will be reunited with him.

There are no suspicious circumstances or foul play suspected and this investigation has been concluded.

–The Grover Beach Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing person with a medical condition. 58-year-old John Collins Jr., last spoke to his family on Jan. 28, 2018 and has not been seen at his Grover Beach residence. Collins is considered At Risk due to a medical condition.

Anyone with information on Collins’ whereabouts is asked to call their local police or the Grover Beach Police Department at (805) 473-4511. Information can also be forwarded to Grover Beach Police Department via e-mail at [email protected].
