Man arrested for possession, distribution of child pornography
Detectives found thousands of images of child pornography on local man’s computer

–Eric Edward Norman, a 44-year-old Los Osos man, has been arrested after detectives from the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office found thousands of photos of child pornography.
On Thursday, detectives with the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement team served a search warrant at a home in the 1200 block of 2nd Street in Los Osos. Detectives had received information that child pornography was being downloaded and distributed from a computer at that residence.
Detectives seized two computers and two hard drives at that location which contained thousands of photos and videos of pre-pubescent children engaged in sexual acts. The images appear to have been downloaded from the internet and then distributed. The computers and hard drives are in the process of being forensically analyzed for child porn.
Detectives arrested 44-year-old Eric Edward Norman of Los Osos on one felony county of possession of child pornography and one felony count of distribution of child pornography. The investigation is continuing.
