Local Muay Thai fighter wins championship 

Muay thai fighter atascadero– After five rounds of fighting last Saturday in Anaheim, Atascadero fighter Julia “Jewels” Perez won the first ever Muay Thai Ultimate Bantamweight Championship. All judges scored the bout 49-46 in favor of Perez by unanimous decision.

Perez said that she wanted to thank Faith Venus Amsterdam of Muay Thai Ultimate Promotions; her trainer, Kru Albert Malatamban, of Elite Muay Thai; and sponsor, Ryan Joiner, of Athlon Elite in San Luis Obispo.
