Local heroes visit the Atascadero Library 

Members of Atascadero Police, San Luis Ambulance, Atascadero Fire, and new Youth Services librarian Leslie Weaver.

Community was invited to hop into the vehicles, hold and use equipment, and ask questions of the group

–Last week, flanked by Atascadero Police Chief Jarel Haley and new Youth Services Librarian Leslie Weaver, members of Atascadero Police Department, Atascadero Fire and San Luis Ambulance visited the Atascadero Library to meet the community and help children and families learn about the importance of their jobs.

Members of the community were invited to hop into the vehicles, hold and use equipment, and ask questions of the group. This library series is part of a county-wide program initiative entitled Discover Your Community. For more information visit slolibrary.org.
