Local digital marketing company picks up World Obstacle Sports Federation

– Rock Harbor Marketing (RHM), a digital marketing company based in Morro Bay, California, has added World Obstacle to its growing list of globally-recognized clients. World Obstacle, also known as the Fédération Internationale de Sports d’Obstacles (FISO), is the sole international governing body for the sports of obstacle course racing, ninja competitions, and adventure racing. The association is composed of national member federations in more than 100 countries, promoting obstacle sports throughout the world. As a reflection of the sport’s growth worldwide, World Obstacle was granted Global Associations of International Sports Federations (GAISF) observer status in Sept. 2021, moving one step closer to becoming an Olympic sport.

The most well-known World Obstacle events include Ninja Warrior competitions, Spartan obstacle course racing, and adventure races such as Eco-Challenge and Primal Quest. Ninja TV Show competitions have approximately 1 billion viewers worldwide. Adventure racing has been widely practiced and televised since 1989, and it is estimated that over 300 million people have watched the Eco-Challenge since 1995. A part of the World Obstacle’s mission is to lead obstacle sports to Olympic recognition.
