Local business awarded for ‘Best Landscape Construction’
–Madrone Landscapes of Atascadero was recently awarded the Sweepstakes Award for the “Best Landscape Construction” for their design/build project of a new tasting room at Halter Ranch Vineyard in Paso Robles. This stunning project also won first place in the category of Large Commercial Landscape.
Held in late June at Madonna Inn, this annual competition is part of the Beautification Awards program of the San Luis Obispo chapter of the California Landscape Contractors Association.
The landscape is a flowing design, featuring a drought tolerant plant palette of California natives, ornamental grasses, colorful perennials and several specimen trees, all watered on a low-flow irrigation system.
The tasting room, adjacent patios and wine caves, are all part of several phases of construction at the Halter Ranch facility.
Halter Ranch is located at 8910 Adalaida Road in Paso Robles. Their new tasting room was designed by MW Architects of Arroyo Grande and built by JW Design and Construction of San Luis Obispo.
Madrone Landscapes also received the “Outstanding Achievement for Large Residential Maintenance” for the Nichter Residence in Harmony, a project installed by Madrone in 2015.
