Story uses socks as a metaphor to explore themes of love and acceptance among people of different styles, sizes, and colors

– Russ Troutt, a new voice in children’s literature, has unveiled his inaugural book, “People are a lot like Socks!” The book is published by Troutt Publishing and features illustrations by Nathan Thomas Milliner. The story uses socks as a metaphor to explore themes of love and acceptance among people of different styles, sizes, and colors.

“I am thrilled to introduce ‘People are A LOT like Socks!’ to young readers everywhere,” said author Russ Troutt. “My hope is that this book will spread smiles and love, encouraging children to appreciate the uniqueness in themselves and others.”

Russ Troutt, originally from Southeast Tennessee and now a resident of Morro Bay, draws on his passion for storytelling nurtured during his time in the United States Navy.

The book is available for purchase online at www.trouttpublishing.com and select bookstores nationwide.
