Library to host, ‘Permanence’ art exhibit

– On Oct. 1, the Atascadero Library, located at 6555 Capistrano Avenue, will launch a new art exhibit entitled “Permanence.”

Works from eight artists have been selected: Patty Arnold, Helen K. Davie, Charlene Martyn, Susan McKee, Cheryl Strahl, Amber Wickersham, Guillermo Willie, and Mark Winkler.

This exhibit includes mixed media, pen and ink sketches, acrylics, collages, and photography – all exploring the theme of permanence.

A reception to meet the artists will be held at the library on Oct. 8, beginning at 5:30 p.m. At 5:45 p.m., artists will participate in a guided tour to discuss their work. The reception will also feature live music and light refreshments. All are welcome.

The exhibit will be on display until Nov. 30.
