Atascadero Lake Clean up Day slated for Oct. 8 

Volunteers should meet in front of The Pavilion on the Lake.

–The annual Lake Clean Up day will be happening on Saturday, Oct. 8, starting at 8:30 a.m., around the Atascadero Lake Park. Volunteers should meet in front of the Pavilion on the Lake at 8:30. They will be working around the perimeter of the lake focusing on clearing around the island.

The chance to clean up around the lake only happens once per year. Locals are encouraged to come out, bring their gloves and hand tools, and clean up the lake while reconnecting with friends and neighbors. Loppers and handsaws only.

Coffee, water and snacks will be provided.
