La Fiesta de las Dallidet will be held this October
A variety of food will be available at the event
– The History Center of San Luis Obispo County will host “La Fiesta de las Dallidet” on Saturday, Oct. 22, from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Dallidet Adobe & Gardens.
The festival is a celebration of the heritage and legacy of the Dallidet women.
There will be a lunch buffet served at 1 p.m., live music by Louie Ortega, an art show with local artists, raffles, a tasting of Mexican wine and cheeses and a fresh flower market with potted mums from the garden.
The menu will include:
- Chilled Gazpacho
- Squash soup
- Steak and/or Zucchini fajitas
- Refried beans
- Rice
- Corn Tortillas
- Chips and salsa
- Sangria
- Mexican sodas
- Fresh churros
The two art pieces on raffle are a ceramic work by David Gurney and planter by Luna Rustica.
Tickets are $75 and each raffle ticket will cost $10 unless purchased in a bundle of five for $40.
