Kiawanis Club hosting Tailgate Superbowl Party
–The Atascadero Kiawanis Club will be hosting the 2nd annual tailgate party for the 2018 Superbowl on Feb. 4, at 1 p.m. The local club has been around for 46 years and meets every Thursday at 7 a.m. in Kiwanis Hall. In 2015 the club was named the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce Organization of the Year. Atascadero Kiwanis Club is a very active non-profit service organization. Proceeds from renting Kiwanis Hall are used by the Atascadero Kiwanis Club for continuing numerous community service projects throughout Atascadero.
This year is very special and there will be a BBQ team cook-off with four teams competing for cash prizes! The people who join in with the fun and wear football team attire will be entered into a drawing for $50.00 cash! The cost is $30 for adults, kids aged 14 and under are $10.
The price of tickets covers the lunch, two drink tickets, and dessert, and also is all you can eat! For tickets, please email [email protected] or find your ticket at Napa Auto Parts in Atascadero, or the Atascadero Chamber of Commerce. The Atascadero Kiwanis Hall is located next to the Charles Paddock Zoo and the Pavilion on the Lake within the Atascadero Lake Park area. From highway 101, take highway 41 west for about 1 mile and turn left on Pismo Avenue just past the Charles Paddock Zoo.
