Kennedy Club Fitness raises funds for injured young girl
Six-year-old Paso Robles girl Charley Stafford, daughter of Mitch and Alyx Truax Stafford was severely injured in a home accident on March 26th that resulted in the near loss of her leg. The young girl was airlifted to USC Medical Center and has gone through a series of surgeries to save her leg with several future surgeries required.
Mitch and Alyx Truax Stafford are very well known in the North County aquatic’s community and Alyx has been a long-time Aquatics Director for Kennedy Club Fitness-Paso Robles.
Both Kennedy Club Fitness Atascadero and San Luis Obispo club locations are hosting an aquatics event, Splash into Summer, on Saturday, May 20 that will raise funds to help offset increasing medical expenses.
The event includes a free guest day, family swim, one day sale on aquatic programs with BBQ proceeds and suggested donations benefitting the family.
Kennedy Club Fitness Paso Robles is hosting Charley’s Day on Memorial Day, Monday, May 29th with similar activities and events.
A silent auction is also currently offered at the Paso Robles location.
