– A total of $2,166,855 was raised from the sale of 840 animals at the Mid-State Fair’s Jr. Livestock auction, according to unofficial results from the fair.
Mackenzie Ramsey of Templeton 4-H sold the Grand Champion Heifer to Duane & Janice Dawes for $10,500.
Jenna Lee of Edna 4-H sold the Reserved Grand Champion Heifer to Wheeler Cattle for $7,500.
Lilly Hildebrand of Templeton FFA sold the FFA Champion Heifer to Estrella Ranch for $10,000.
Wyatt Judge of San Luis Obispo FFA sold the FFA Reserve Champion for $5,000
Vanessa Soto Templeton FFA Grand Champion Hog to Boneso Bros Construction & Borjon Auto Center at $20/lb.
Tony Quintero of Carrisa Plains 4-H sold the Reserved Grand Champion Hog to RE/MAX Parkside – Hugh Pitts & Kings Oil Tools & Adamski, Moroski, Madden, Cumberland & Green at $17/lb.
Ian Barnhill of Cerro Alto 4-H sold the Grand Champion Rabbits to 3 Brand Cattle Co. for $1,050.
