‘Howlidays’ event Saturday supports animals in need
Proceeds benefit Novy’s Ark’s mission of rescuing and rehoming animals
– Atascadero Hay & Feed will partner with local nonprofit Novy’s Ark to host the Howlidays event on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 12 to 3 p.m. The family- and pet-friendly event aims to celebrate the season while supporting animals in need through a variety of activities and opportunities for charitable giving.
“Howlidays is the perfect way to bring together animal lovers, support a great cause, and spread holiday cheer,” said Errick Hicks, chief operating officer at Atascadero Hay & Feed. “We’re thrilled to work with Novy’s Ark to create a fun and meaningful event for our community.”
The event will feature pet photos with Santa for a $10 donation, with professional photos emailed directly to participants. Attendees will also have the chance to meet adoptable dogs from Novy’s Ark and enjoy complimentary hot cocoa and cookies, with donations appreciated.
Additional activities include a silent auction of holiday baskets and an ornament sale. Holiday ornaments will be available for a $25 donation, with proceeds benefiting Novy’s Ark’s mission of rescuing and rehoming animals. An information table will be set up to provide details about the nonprofit’s work in the community.
Howlidays will take place at Atascadero Hay & Feed, located at 6155 Via Ave. in Atascadero.
Proceeds from the event will support Novy’s Ark, which has rescued and rehomed over 200 dogs. The nonprofit is dedicated to providing essential care and support to animals in need, with a focus on community involvement and charitable contributions.
