Hot El Camino Cruise Nite returns this August

– The City of Atascadero will host the 31st Annual Hot El Camino Cruise Nite on Friday, Aug. 16, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. as part of Cruisin’ Weekend. The cruise will take place on El Camino Real in Atascadero, drawing thousands of spectators to view a variety of classic and modern cars from across the county and surrounding areas.
Passes for Hot El Camino Cruise Nite are limited to 500 to ensure an enjoyable experience. Pre-registration is available at the Colony Park Community Center, 5599 Traffic Way, until Friday, Aug. 16, at 4 p.m. The cost is $30 per car for those who register by this deadline. Mail-in pre-registration will be accepted through Friday, Aug. 2. On-site registration will be available at the intersection of San Luis Avenue and Pueblo Avenue (enter from Curbaril) from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. the night of the cruise. The fee for on-site registration is $40 per car, payable by cash or check only.
Cruisin’ Weekend continues on Saturday, Aug. 17, with the Mid-State Cruizers Car Show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Atascadero Lake Park and the 8th Annual Dancing in the Streets from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. in Downtown Atascadero.
